It's only a little after 11 o'clock this morning and we've already eaten breakfast, cleaned up, made beds, gotten dressed, been to the park for an hour and a half and had a mid-morning snack.
Maybe for your family this isn't quite the feat I'm making it out to be but it definitely is for Mama Nash and little William. Now that we're nearing summer, William has decided to take up summer hours. He wakes up about an hour earlier and goes to bed about an hour later in the evening. His version of Daylight Savings Time, I guess. But he's been compensating his lack of night-time sleeping with a longer nap during the day. And after seeing him at the playground, boy does he need it.
And Mama Nash is quite OK with this schedule seeing as it is only a little after 11 o'clock, is very sunny and she, being a sun-loving goddess, is feeling very tempted by that patio right now.
